Every year, Student Foundation attends conferences for the Association of Student Advancement Programs (ASAP). ASAP is an association of student advancement programs at more than 300 higher education instutions across North American, all with the common goal of enriching student advancement programming. ASAP is a unique program run by students, for students, with the help of district advisers. Foundation members have attended conferences everywhere from Boston, Massachusetts to Seatle, Washington, even presenting sessions at several of these. Last summer the National Conference was held at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and three of the current Student Foundation officers attended.
Next summer, the national conference will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Foundation plans to represent Texas State. Click
