Bonnie Cole

Bonnie is from Fort Worth, Texas but considers San Marcos her second home. She is studying geography as well as history and French in order to become a high school teacher. She loves her coursework so much that she has maintained a 3.94 GPA and has been on the Dean's List every semester. Bonnie enjoys many different aspects of student life at Texas State, including involvement in sport clubs, campus ministries, and of course, Student Foundation. When not studying or participating in campus organizations, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and kayaking. She hopes to travel the world and bring many great experiences and stories back to her classroom.

Jennie Darst

Jennie is from Corpus Christi,Texas, but she has loved living in San Marcos for the past three years. She is studying history, geography, and political science with the intention of teaching high school social studies. She also plans to continue her scholastic studies in order to receive a master's degree in education. She has a 3.75 GPA and has made the dean’s list several times. Jennie enjoys different aspects of student life at Texas State, including involvement in campus ministries, the SLAC program, Bobcat Build, and Student Foundation. When she is not studying or participating in campus organizations, she loves to cook, read, and travel to new places.

Robert Hensley

Robert was born in Waco, Texas, but moved for the first years of his life to Austin, Kansas City, and finally settling in Georgetown, Texas where he graduated from Georgetown High School in 2005. His latest move was to Texas State University, and even though he has only been here for three years, Texas State feels more like home than any other place he has lived. During his time here, Robert has been a part of Residence Life, Residence Hall Association, Sigma Iota Rho, the American Red Cross Club, the Student Chapter of the Alumni Association, and, of course, Student Foundation. Robert is pursuing an International Studies degree with a focus in International Relations and plans to graduate in Spring 2009. After moving away from Texas State, Robert hopes to work abroad for the United States State Department or continue his education in graduate school. In his free time, Robert enjoys cooking, traveling, watching movies and relaxing with his friends.

Haley Hudson

Born in Charleston, Illinois, Haley moved to San Antonio in 6th grade and fell in love with Texas. She graduated with honors from Douglas MacArthur High School in San Antonio, Texas and has attended Texas State University-San Marcos since Fall 2004. Haley has maintained a 3.85 GPA while studying Elementary Education and plans to graduate Summa Cum Laude in the Spring of 2008. After graduating, she intends to move to San Antonio and begin a teaching position with K-4th grade. Outside of Student Foundation, Haley has been involved in intramural sports, Paws Preview, Navigators, and Presidential of Excellence Teaching Committee; worked in the Dean of Students Office for four years; and received several academic honors and scholarships. Her other interests include sports, being outdoors, shopping, and cheering for the San Antonio Spurs.

Laramie McWilliams

Laramie is originally from Ozona, Texas and graduated from San Angelo Central High School. She came to Texas State in the fall of 2001 and stayed for two years. She spent one semester at Angelo State University and could not wait to come back. In order to stay in school at Texas State, she worked several jobs while attending school full time, but she still had time to become involved in Student Foundation. Laramie is currently working in the Dean of Students office and provides administrative support for Student Foundation and the Associated Student Government. She plans to attend graduate school next fall and continue working at the university.

Matt Priest

Born in Beaumont, Texas, Matt has attended Texas State University-San Marcos all four years of his collegiate career, beginning in Fall of 2004, shortly after graduating Salutatorian from Lumberton High School in Lumberton, Texas. Outside of Student Foundation, Matt has been involved in intramural sports, residence life, the Student Rec Center Expansion Committee, Associated Student Government, and several honors distinctions and has maintained a 3.97 GPA while studying Business Finance. He plans to graduate Summa Cum Laude in December 2008. Matt hopes to leave college and begin working either in sales and marketing or resort casino management. When he is not on the hill at Texas State, Matt enjoys working out, playing sports, attending concerts, spending time at the river, and cooking.
